This role is part of New Joiner Support (NJS) team, under Joining Amazon services which ensures an end to end, frustration-free journey for the candidates.
NJS supports candidates globally by entering their data into HR systems after validating them in recruiting systems, helping candidates transition from offer accepted to employee status. This includes creating accurate employee records, generating new hire paperwork, and obtaining and uploading eligibility documents, so that new hires are ready to work on Day 1.

An Associate manages day-to-day administration of processes for the assigned countries. They work under the guidance of senior team members and displays high integrity and quality.

Key job responsibilities
 Input, update and maintain candidate related data in a timely manner with a strong eye-for-detail.
 Maintain, manage and regularly audit all digital & physical personnel files.
 Partner with diverse HR teams, provide support and process transactions to deliver a top-notch day one experience to new hires.
 Take ownership to communicate effectively with high degree of customer focus to explain and resolve queries and concerns. This could be via email, phone and chat/instant messaging.
 Adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
 Continually strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the processes

A day in the life
 Onboard the offer accepted candidates to Amazon and its internal systems.
 Work with single or multiple countries and for all Amazon business lines.
 Be mindful while processing transactions and generating documents as this has financial and legal obligations. We strive to provide a good candidate experience.
 Constantly display high integrity values while dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information.
 Communicate with different stake holders involved in the onboarding process to track and update candidates onboarding status.

This is an exciting Documentation opportunity, which gives an individual the ability to work in a dynamic environment supporting multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate has excellent written/grammatical skills and can review both functional and technical user documentation. The candidate must also have analytical skills and enjoy reading, writing, and learning new things. The candidate must be self motivated and organized.

Responsibilities include reviewing functional and technical user documentation along with drafting documentation for new functionality. The Documentation member will work with functional and technical members to create online help and other forms of documentation that enhances the user experience.

For this role, CGI is looking for an individual with excellent written skills; analytic skills; a strong work ethic that takes full ownership of assignments; capable of meeting target dates and very responsive to requests for assistance; and the ability to effectively work with other geographically distributed team members and other teams. The individual must have experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Microsoft Word, and must know how to format a document using pre-defined styles. The individual must be able to learn new skills quickly. Experience with Adobe RoboHelp is a big advantage, but not required. Experience with the Advantage application is preferred.

Job Role / Your future duties & responsibilities :
The key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Write/review release notes for resolved defects, database changes and new enhancements.
  • Write/review documentation for new enhancements or changes to the application.
  • Format/review updates to existing guides/new guides.

Migrate documentation from Advantage 3x to Advantage 4.

Required qualifications for this role: Bachelors Degree

Technologies required : Any ERP Solution (e.g. Oracle Financial/HR)

Skills :
Technical Skills:

  • 4-year college degree
  • Experience using Microsoft Word to format documentation
  • (Bonus) Experience with Adobe RoboHelp
  • (Bonus – preferred) Experience with Advantage

Functional Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to understand and write functional documentation for new enhancements.
  • Excellent grammatical skills, which will be used in all aspects of this role.
  • Ability to review and format functional and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work in a non-conventional environment with virtual CGI teams spanning time zones across the U.S. and India.
  • Independent and self-motivated with the desire and work ethic to thrive and excel in this geographically distributed team work environment.

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to work synergistically with members from multiple teams and cultures
